Fundraising information will include customer financial information
Trustees, any unpaid or paid workers are required to undergo legally required safeguarding checks
We maintain an active presence on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, as well as our website, and so will request personal information when campaigns are launched and advertised on these social media platforms.
How we get the personal information and why we have it
Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:
When you contact the Foundation to make a donation and consent to provide your personal information
Completing needs assessment with you by consent to agree how to best to support you with resources or signpost you to services.
We also receive personal information indirectly, from the following sources in the following scenarios:
When you have been referred by other agencies and organisation to the Foundation to access our services and receive support.
We use the information that you have given us to identify the appropriate support, resources, and signposting to meet your needs.
We may share this information with agreed partner organisations or individual support services, with your consent, to fulfil the agreed support plan and signposting.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful basis we rely on for processing this information is:

How we store your personal information
Your information is securely stored only within the jurisdiction of England.
We keep personal information for those consenting to access support service for one year and not longer than necessary to provide you with a service provision. We will not keep personal information for donors beyond the campaign period of fundraising. We keep personal information for Trustees, paid and unpaid staff for two years beyond the end of service. We will then dispose your information by securely deleting and disposing of all data.

Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.
